British Museum

Massive cultural institution with room after room of ancient history.  There is so much to see here that it can take a few hours to go round, so allow time.  What we like now is that you can handle precious artifacts at various locations with the help of handlers (trained staff who are experts in the artifacts).  It is a real chance to lay your hands on ancient history.  Literally!
