So the US President came to Warsaw for two days.
After landing at Chopin International Airport he went straight to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and then to the Statue of the Heroes of the Ghetto. He then sped on in the 'Beast' (his bomb-proof limousine) with his troop of special agents, to the Presidential Palace. The city centre came to a virtual standstill and only the underground was running as normal. After a long and tiring day he retired his Presidential suite at the Marriot Hotel. (See blog sidebar for a picture of the Marriot Hotel and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier)
